Medicare Basics Seminars in February

February is Heart Health Awareness Month, which is a perfect time to learn about how to navigate Medicare. Karen Mayse, a certified Medicare Benefits counselor with more than 10 years of experience in explaining Medicare to Kansans, will provide more seminars in February.

Medicare is health insurance for people who are 65 or better and for people who qualify because of disabilities. The two-part Zoom Medicare Basics seminar series provides an easy-to-understand overview of Medicare, steps to enrollment and explains how Medicare works with employer’s insurance. It also provides information about Extra Help and other Medicare Savings Programs and addresses participants’ questions.

Medicare Basics Part 1 seminars will be on February 3rd at 5:30 pm; Wednesday, February 10th at 5:30 pm; Wednesday, February 17th at 5:30 pm; and Wednesday, February 24th at 5:30 pm.

Medicare Basics Part 2 will be on Thursday, February 4th at 5:30 pm; Thursday, February 11th at 5:30 pm; Thursday, February 18th at 5:30 pm; and Thursday, February 25th at 5:30 pm.

Registration is now open for these events, and is available at www.ncfhaaa.com/seminars or by calling 1-800-432-2730. All registration need to be made by 5 pm on the day before the session.
