Medicare Basics in December
/We are happy to announce more Medicare Basics seminars coming in the month of December. We will be taking a break at the end of the month to enjoy the winter holidays, but stay tuned for more seminars in January. Karen Mayse, a certified Medicare Benefits counselor with more than 10 years of experience in explaining Medicare to Kansans, will present six seminars in the month of December.
Medicare is health insurance for people who are 65 or better and for people who qualify because of disabilities. The two-part Zoom Medicare Basics seminar series provides an easy-to-understand overview of Medicare, steps to enrollment and explains how Medicare works with employer’s insurance. It also provides information about Extra Help and other Medicare Savings Programs and addresses participants’ questions.
Medicare Basics Part 1 seminars will be on Wednesday, December 2nd at 5:30 pm; Wednesday, December 9th at 5:30 pm; and Wednesday, December 17th at 5:30 pm.
Medicare Basics Part 2 will be on Thursday, December 3rd at 5:30 pm; Thursday, December 10th at 5:30 pm; and Thursday, December 17th at 5:30 pm.
