Need Help with Medicare Open Enrollment? SHICK Counselors Can Help
/Area Agency on Aging Senior Health Insurance Counseling for Kansas (SHICK) counselors are ready to help seniors and caregivers compare their Medicare insurance plan options and enroll for 2021 during the Medicare Open Enrollment Period (OEP). The enrollment period began Oct. 15th and goes until Dec. 7. Every year companies make changes to Medicare prescription drug plans—and there are changes in Medicare, too. The good news is that those who want to speak to a SHICK counselor can schedule phone or Zoom appointments by calling 1-800-432-2703 or by going to www.ncfhaaa.com/shick.
COVID-19 means changes for SHICK Counseling: COVID-19 challenges means that for the safety of older Kansans, caregivers and SHICK Counselors we are not having open enrollment events this year at senior centers in our region.
If you did not receive a Medicare edition of Keynotes issue please contact Kim at 1-800-432-2703—we will send a copy to you and add you to our mailing list. It’s packed with Medicare information!
Import things to know:
